ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND - May 13, 2010 — Marport, a leading underwater acoustics technology company, announced today that Atlantic Business magazine selected Marport President and CEO, Karl Kenny, as one of the Top 50 CEOs of Atlantic Canada. The awards ceremony took place last night at the World Trade & Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Approximately 780 people joined the magazine in its 12th annual salute to Atlantic Canadian corporate leadership excellence.

Nominees are judged on proven managerial ability, reaction to challenging situations, leadership philosophies, growth over a three-year period and commitment to industry and community development. Winners are selected from hundreds of nominations from across the region.
