ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND – OCTOBER 18, 2010 – Marport Deep Sea Technologies Inc., a leading underwater acoustics technology company, announced today that its subsidiary, Marport France, will exhibit at the Euronaval 2010 conference being held October 25 – 29, 2010 in Paris.
Supported by the French Ministry of Defence and the Secretariat General to the Sea, Euronaval is an international exhibition and conference of technologies, equipment & services for the naval defense industry. This year’s event is expected to welcome 400 exhibitors and over 30,000 trade visitors from 100 countries.
Euronaval attendees are encouraged to stop by Marport booth F3. Company representatives will be showcasing a variety of advanced underwater acoustics and robotics solutions designed for Maritime Mine Countermeasures (MMCM) including the highly maneuverable SQX Autonomous Underwater Vehicle. Marport engineers will be available to discuss new Software Defined Sonar® technologies under development including TrailBlazer™, a 3D forward looking sonar for mine and obstacle avoidance, SoundVision™, a next generation Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Sonar, and SeaFire® - acoustic instruments for underwater communications and positioning.
