New Alternative for Older Catch Control Bridge Equipment
SmartBridge is a compatible replacement for the Scanmar CGM, RX400 and C600 series. Marport’s SmartBridge can also be used as a alternative to Scanmar’s MiniCatch, ScanCatch, ScanMate and ScanBas bridge equipment.
Marport’s SmartBridge is the only system in the world that is Scanmar compatible and is capable of receiving and displaying information from all of Scanmar’s pre-2005 sensors. SmartBridge displays information from up to 30 sensors and is ready for new boat and channel codes.
Users can have both Scanmar and Marport sensors deployed on the trawl and the unit also supports Marport’s newest door tilt/roll angle sensor, speed/symmetry sensor, distance sensors and net sounder. Installation is fast and straight-forward as the SmartBridge receiver connects directly to the existing catch control system hydrophone. The bridge unit offers a large 19” (or larger) color display with advanced display software. All data can be recorded to hard drive and played back for further analysis.

The MPPC-19 is an industrial grade panel PC incorporating a 19" SXGA TFT screen as its user interface. The panel PC is an all-in-one and compact system designed around a highly integrated single board computer.
The unit features an IP65 front bezel for water and dust protection, Intel Pentium 4 processor, built-in video controller, LAN, audio and multiple-I/O ports for interfacing to many peripheral devices. The combination of full PC functionality and industrial-grade construction makes the system ideal for both new builds and retro-fits.
The MPPC-19 comes standard with a 2.4Ghz Intel Pentium 4 Processor, 1028MB DDR Memory and 40GB Slim Hard drive. The front panel complies with the IP65 / NEMA 4 protection standard. A watchdog timer and power management features make the system secure and stable. The onboard hardware monitoring feature provides automatic protection function, which prevents the CPU from becoming overheated.
Four serial ports, a 10/100 Ethernet port and a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port gives the MPPC-19 advanced networking capabilities, and provide a great solution for Marport’s software applications.
